George Waldrop
I Am Love, You Are Loved
Stephanie reminded me of this revelation and revolution
This love is being sent out in peaceful vibrations
From my heart to the multitudes
We provide love to receive the love we need
Love remains, fear fades, optimism evades
Love feeds this emptiness, and persuades nothingness
Opens the door for gratitude like she needs chivalry
The days of damsels in distress have passed
Gratitude put on her best dress just for the occasion
She always looked good in tie-dye and anklet bells
Because gratitude even works in jail cells of self-imposed hells
She rings the living bells
Gratitude walks a mile in my shoes
If we know it’s a gift to be simple and come down where we ought to be
In the valley of love and delight
All religions give orders to do unto others, love ourselves and our neighbors
When we think we are saved but do not follow orders
We have been very unkind to each other
We are very naive to believe that gods and goddesses
Would be prejudice, like the separatist that divide us
Love shall overcome when we are aware
Radical acceptance of love
Without all the jaded conditions
When we all need unconditional love
Love motivated the masses enough to see humanity here
